The "broad-keeled milkvetch" is a diminutive, densely tufted, acaulescent perennial astragalus, one of few endemic to high montane areas of the intermountain region, and characterized by its basifixed pubescence, and sessile, bladdery bilocular pods. From the Sweetwater Mountains, California USA.
