The hunt for Astragalus, western Death Valley.

Location:

Mojave Desert, southern California, including the Granite and Trilobite Wilderness areas, and Death Valley

Goal:

Collect Astragalus and other legumes, and enjoy the ephemeral desert spring wildflowers
