Our research focuses on phylogenetic trees and comparative evolutionary biology, using the tools of computational biology. Current projects in the lab include development of algorithms and tools for assembling the tree of life, analysis of whole genome sequences to infer evolutionary relationships in Oryza, and statistical inference in trait evolution. We collaborate with colleagues in genomics, computer science and math. (...more)
